Record Store Day Australia 2025 Vinyl Release
This vinyl record will be available to buy instore from 8am Satruday April 12 (Record Store Day). It will be first come first served and there are no holds for anyone. Purchase of this record is limited to one per person (per release - you can buy as many records as you want but not multiples of the same record). Any records that are not sold over the RSD weekend will be sold online from 9am on Monday 14th April. Please note that information is constantly being updated and the following release details and album artwork are subejct to change.

Description
SEASON TO RISK are one of the pioneers of the "noise rock" genre alongside UNSANE and HELMET, putting out two major label albums on Sony Music in 1993 and 1995 both featuring artwork by the top in the industry at the time (Frank Kozik & Derek Hess). They toured non-stop and from 1989 to 2003, recording and releasing their final full-length in 2001 with Jason Livermore & Bill Stevenson of the DESCENDENTS & ALL on their Owned & Operated label. Then the band went on hiatus. In 2019 and 2020 the band self-released vinyl versions of their independent releases themselves selling out the modest 300 copy run and then in 2021 put out a rarities compilation cassette called 1-800-MELTDOWN in a run of 100 copies. In 2024 the band reformed and started playing live again and are working on a new full-length album! This Limited edition LP (completely different tracklisting than the cassette with the same title) release features the song the band performed in the Kathryn Bigelow film "Strange Days" (which the label refused to put on the soundtrack CD release because the song was deemed TOO NOISEY alongside rarely heard rarities, compilation tracks and b-sides that span the career of the band (and feature members of SHINER and THE LIFE AND TIMES) is the first new S2R song released since 2001 -- a brand new track written and recorded in 2024. Limited to 1000 copies worldwide and pressed on neon green vinyl with glow in the dark ink on the jacket. The band will be touring the Midwest and East Coast following the release of this LP! -

- We are a small independent record store located at 91 Plenty Rd, Preston in Melbourne, Australia (North of Northcote, between Thornbury & Reservoir)

- We ship Australia wide for a flat rate of $10 for standard shipping or $15 for express post.
- Free Shipping for orders $150 and over.
- You can also pick up your order in store, just select Local Pickup at the checkout.
- We also ship internationally - prices vary depending on weight and location.
- We ship vinyls in thick, rigid carboard mailers with a crushable zone on either side, and for extra safety we bubble wrap the records.
- In stock vinyl is usally shipped next business day, please check the availability field at the top of the product page to see whether the record is currently in stock or if it is available from the supplier as well as estimated shipping times.
- If you order an in stock item together with a pre order or back order (listed as available from supplier rather than in stock) then the order will be shipped together when all items arrive. If you would like the in stock items shipped first please place two separate orders or contact us to arrange shipping items separately.
- We are strongly committed to customer satisfaction. If you experience any problems with your order contact us so we can rectify the situation. If the record arrives damaged or doesn't arrive we will cover the cost of replacing or returning the record.
- If you change your mind you have 30 days to return your record but you must cover the cost of returning it to the store.
