It's a song that captures the essence of longing and nostalgia, themes that are prevalent throughout the EP.
The second track, "Riptide," is undoubtedly the standout song on the EP and the one that catapulted Vance Joy to international fame. With its catchy ukulele riff and sing-along chorus, "Riptide" became a massive hit, reaching the top of the charts in several countries and earning multi-platinum certifications. The song's quirky lyrics and infectious melody make it an instant earworm, and it's no surprise that it remains one of Vance Joy's most popular songs to date.

The lyrics paint a vivid picture of a quirky and endearing character, and the upbeat melody adds a sense of playfulness to the song. It's a delightful track that adds variety to the EP.
The final track, "From Afar," is a beautiful and melancholic ballad that closes the EP on a reflective note. The song's lyrics deal with unrequited love and the pain of longing for someone who is out of reach.
