Description
Cut in the North Carolina mountains with longtime producer Jay Joyce, Eric Church’s & is the intimate middle chapter of his Heart & Soul project, finally pressed up properly on LP after its initial Church Choir–only debut. The songs feel looser and more after-hours than the bookends, the product of that write-it-in-the-day, record-it-at-night approach the band lived with for a week. On Doing Life With Me, the harmonies rise like a worn barroom choir over a gentle shuffle, and you can hear the room breathe between acoustic strums.
This pressing gives the grit some breathing room: low end sits deeper and imaging snaps into place, so the guitars and organ don’t crowd the vocal. It’s a good fit for shelves that already hold Chris Stapleton, but Church leans further into road-dusted storytelling and bar-band swing.
If you’d rather order online, you can buy Eric Church records online with us. Spin it during a late Saturday tidy in Melbourne and it lands just right, equal parts reflective and ready to roll. The sequencing also makes more sense as a standalone set, highlighting the looser, groove-led side of these sessions without the anthemic pressure of the “Heart” or “Soul” discs.
Perfect for anyone building a record collection, buy online or in store today.
