Tuttle, a virtuoso guitarist and singer-songwriter, has been recognized for her incredible talent and unique voice, and this album is a testament to her artistry and the vibrant energy of her band, Golden Highway.

From the very first track, "El Dorado," listeners are treated to Tuttle's signature blend of traditional bluegrass with a modern twist. The song sets the tone for the album, showcasing her impressive guitar skills and heartfelt lyrics. The production is crisp and clean, allowing each instrument to shine, and the harmonies from Golden Highway add a rich layer to the overall sound. It’s a perfect introduction to what Tuttle and her band have to offer.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Dooley's Farm," which features a catchy melody and a lively rhythm that makes it impossible not to tap your feet along. The song tells a story that feels both personal and universal, a hallmark of Tuttle's songwriting. Critics have praised her ability to weave narratives that resonate with listeners, and this track is no exception. The instrumentation is tight, with banjo and mandolin weaving in and out of the mix, creating a dynamic listening experience.

The album has received critical acclaim from major publications. Rolling Stone highlighted Tuttle's ability to blend genres, noting that "City of Gold" is a celebration of both her roots and her innovative spirit.
