Description

The half-beat drop before the hook in Diamonds Dancing still makes the room lean forward. Drake & Future’s What A Time To Be Alive remains the cold, celebratory snapshot of their 2015 Atlanta link-up with Metro Boomin. From the rubbery chant of Jumpman to the late-night clarity of 30 for 30 Freestyle, it lands as a tighter, more focused set than memory suggests. This LP pressing gives the instrumentals breathing room and the low end sits deeper, so Metro’s bass moves feel heavy without mud. Vocals ride higher in the mix and the ad-libs pop, which adds bite to the back-and-forth energy. Works for a late drive or a room full of mates; the momentum never slackens. File it between Future’s DS2 and Drake’s If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late; it bridges those moods cleanly. If you’d rather order from the couch, you can buy Drake & Future records online here. It’s also a neat time capsule of the Metro-led ATL sound that took over that year. Sequencing moves quickly, and the closer feels like a proper curtain call rather than a toss-off. Staff pick for anyone filling the gap between glossy rap anthems and moody late-night cuts. Grab it online now or drop in to our Melbourne shop and take it home today.
