Released on July 7, 2023, this album marks a significant moment in the band's career, as they continue to push the boundaries of their sound while maintaining the emotional intensity and lyrical depth that fans have come to love.

One of the standout aspects of "Dead Club City" is its thematic exploration. The album delves into the concept of a fictional city, where the band explores themes of identity, belonging, and the human condition. This narrative thread runs through the album, giving it a conceptual feel that invites listeners to immerse themselves in the world that Nothing But Thieves has created.

Musically, "Dead Club City" is a rich tapestry of sounds. The band has always been known for their ability to blend rock with elements of alternative and indie music, and this album is no exception. Tracks like "Welcome to the DCC" and "Overcome" highlight the band's knack for crafting anthemic choruses and intricate guitar work, while songs like "Tomorrow Is Closed" showcase their ability to create atmospheric and introspective moments.

The production on the album is top-notch, with each track meticulously crafted to highlight the band's strengths. The vocals of lead singer Conor Mason are a particular highlight, as his dynamic range and emotive delivery bring the lyrics to life. The production team, including long-time collaborator Mike Crossey, has done an excellent job of balancing the raw energy of the band with polished, radio-ready soundscapes.

Critically, "Dead Club City" has been well-received, with many reviewers praising the band's growth and the album's ambitious concept.
