Description
A tiny harmonica gulp right before the riff on Ridin’ On The L & N says plenty: raw R&B fired through garage grit. Bintangs’ Travelling In The U.S.A. captures the Dutch crew at their early-70s peak, all barked vocals, gnashing guitars and locomotive grooves. The title track still barrels forward with a bar-room swagger, while Ridin’ On The L & N snaps like a live wire. This white vinyl pressing gives the songs breathing room; space between the twin guitars is clearer and the low end sits deeper. File it next to The Pretty Things era of tough R&B, but Bintangs lean even more into the harmonica and stomp. It plays loud without fatigue, which suits a Saturday tidy in a Melbourne sharehouse. If you'd rather order online, you can buy Bintangs records online with us. Longtime fans will clock how the chug in Travelling In The U.S.A. locks tight with the kick, a small but satisfying shift on this cut. Newcomers get a straight shot of Euro garage that still feels unvarnished. A reliable way to round out the blues-rock shelf without reaching for the usual UK suspects. Perfect for anyone building a record collection, buy online or in store today.
