Description

Bun E. Carlos’ tom fill into the first Surrender chorus still lifts the room, a small trick that never loses its grin. Cheap Trick – Authorized Greatest Hits gathers the band’s power-pop bite and arena smarts across a properly roomy 2LP, with hits and fan picks sitting comfortably together. You get the Budokan rush of I Want You to Want Me and the siren‑streaked paranoia of Dream Police, but also the sense of a group that could swing from sugar to steel in a verse.

If you’d rather order online, you can buy Cheap Trick records online with us.

Spread across four sides, this pressing gives the guitars more space and the low end sits deeper, so those stacked harmonies and Rick’s staccato riffs don’t crowd each other. The sequencing actually tells a story: from bratty Midwest crunch to glossy radio moments without a jolt. Sleeve notes and the band-approved track choices make it feel definitive without turning clinical. File it next to The Cars if you like late‑70s hooks, knowing Cheap Trick lean a little tougher and funnier.

Great for a Saturday tidy or a late drive, where Robin Zander’s top notes cut through and the choruses do the rest. One spin and you’ll remember how wide this catalogue really runs.

Available to order online or in our Melbourne record store, your crate needs this one.
