Description
Eerie bowing in Dazed and Confused hangs in the hot Texas air, then Bonham thunders in and the crowd erupts. Led Zeppelin’s Texas International Pop Festival 1969 Broadcast captures the band weeks before their second album dropped, hungry and loose. Across this 2LP set, you get the full radio tape in surprisingly vivid form. How Many More Times sprawls into a swaggering medley, Page teasing snatches of old rockers while Jones keeps the pocket tight. Communication Breakdown closes like a sprint, Plant riding the front edge of the groove. Compared with grey-market CDs, this pressing gives the broadcast some breathing room; low end sits deeper and cymbals decay cleanly. If you’d rather order online, you can buy Led Zeppelin records online with us. File it beside The Who’s Live at Leeds for era-true, heavy-blues electricity, but the Zeppelin swing is looser and more elastic. Sequencing across four sides keeps the set’s momentum intact. Perfect for a late-night spin when you want the crackle of ‘69 energy without the bootleg grit. Available to order online or in our Melbourne record store, your crate needs this one.
