Led by the talented Australian musician Iva Davies, Icehouse delivers a collection of songs that are both catchy and thought-provoking, making "Primitive Man" a standout album in their discography.

The album kicks off with the infectious hit single "Great Southern Land," which immediately sets the tone for the rest of the record. With its pulsating synths, driving rhythm section, and Davies' distinctive vocals, the track captures the essence of Icehouse's sound. The lyrics, inspired by the Australian landscape, evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing, making it an anthem for the country.

"Hey Little Girl" follows, another standout track that showcases Icehouse's ability to craft memorable hooks. The song's infectious chorus and catchy synth lines make it an instant earworm. Davies' vocals are emotive and captivating, adding depth to the lyrics that explore themes of desire and obsession.
