Description
The quick inhale before “I chime in” on I Write Sins Not Tragedies still gets a grin across the counter. Panic! At The Disco’s A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out remains a cheeky, whip-smart debut, split between sequenced dance-punk on the first half and cabaret-tinged strings and accordion on the second. Produced by Matt Squire, it darts from the synth-stab swagger of Time to Dance to the smoky piano swing of But It’s Better If You Do.
This Silver Vinyl LP suits the aesthetic and the jacket art looks sharp, while the low end sits deeper than the old CD, giving kicks and bass more purpose without smudging detail. Around Melbourne, it still soundtracks sharehouse singalongs.

File it next to mid-2000s Fall Out Boy, but the difference here is the vaudeville flair and lyrical theatre, delivered with Brendon Urie’s clean, elastic vocal and Spencer Smith’s crisp drums. The sequencing still works as a front-to-back listen. It is a time capsule that still moves a room, whether you crave the barbed hooks or the sly, cabaret swing.
Order online now or swing past our Preston shop to pick it up.
