Released on July 1, 2022, this soundtrack is a carefully curated collection of songs that not only enhance the storytelling of "Stranger Things" but also transport listeners back to the 1980s, a decade rich with iconic music.
The "Stranger Things" series has always been celebrated for its impeccable use of music, and the fourth season is no exception. The soundtrack features a mix of classic hits and deep cuts from the 1980s, each track chosen to evoke the era's distinctive sound and feel. This season's soundtrack includes memorable tracks like Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God)," which experienced a massive resurgence in popularity thanks to its prominent placement in the show. Another standout track is "Separate Ways (Worlds Apart)" by Journey, which captures the emotional intensity and drama of the series. The soundtrack also includes "Psycho Killer" by Talking Heads, "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" by Dead or Alive, and "Rock Me Amadeus" by Falco, among others.
