Description
Limited edition yellow vinyl including a large format 'Future Past World Tour 2024' tour lenticular.
Iron Maiden's 'Somewhere in Time', released in 1986, represented a bold step forward in the band's sound and artistic direction. Known for its futuristic themes and progressive approach, the album introduced a prominent use of synthesizers. Rather than softening their sound, the synths enhance the epic scope of the music, giving it a unique, atmospheric quality that sets 'Somewhere in Time' apart from previous Iron Maiden records.
What truly defines 'Somewhere in Time' within Iron Maiden’s discography is its ambition. The band was coming off the success of Powerslave and the exhausting World Slavery Tour, and instead of repeating themselves, they pushed into new sonic territory.
