The album features a collection of songs that reflect on themes of home, identity, and the passage of time. Spektor's ability to weave personal narratives with universal themes is evident throughout the album. The opening track, "Becoming All Alone," sets the tone with its introspective lyrics and haunting piano arrangement. It’s a beautiful introduction that invites listeners into Spektor's world, where every note feels like a brushstroke on a canvas of emotions.

One of the standout tracks is "What Might Have Been," which showcases Spektor's lyrical prowess and her knack for storytelling. The song is a poignant reflection on choices and the paths not taken, delivered with her signature blend of whimsy and melancholy. Critics have praised this track for its emotional depth and the way it resonates with anyone who has ever pondered their own life choices.
