Description

Halloween night, 1991, Seattle’s Paramount Theatre, with Nevermind breaking and the room running hot. Nirvana’s Happy Halloween (Live at the Paramount Theatre, Seattle, October 31, 1991) captures the band mid-lift-off, raw but locked in. You can feel it in Aneurysm opening the set, Grohl’s count-in snapping the band to attention before the guitars bite. Breed is pure velocity, the snare like a whipcrack, while the swell before the first Teen Spirit chorus still raises hairs.

Pressed on orange vinyl to match the date, this edition gives the chaos a little more air. Low end sits deeper and the room ambience spreads, so you catch crowd shouts and cymbal tails without losing the punch. If you prefer to order from home, you can buy Nirvana records online with us.

Spin it loud in a small Melbourne lounge or stash it next to Mudhoney in your early-90s stack. It is a document as much as a show, a reminder of how taut the trio sounded between bar-band scrappiness and arena command. For fans who know Live at the Paramount from video, this cut feels immediate, warts and grins intact. Aneurysm, Breed, and Teen Spirit are the hooks, but the momentum never sags.

Buy online now with fast shipping across Australia, or pick it up in our Preston record store.
